Constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal or anal pain, rectal bleeding, bowel incontinence. Many patients will be referred to me with at least one, if not more, of the above. The problem is that many different bowel conditions can cause very similar symptoms. By listening carefully to your story and investigating appropriately, I will be able to conclude what, if anything, is wrong, give advice and, when necessary, treat the condition.
